New Adopt A Road Volunteers

Keep Pickens Beautiful is pleased to announce two more Adopt A Road members. Pictured is Karen Rooker. She and her husband Tim have volunteered to pick up Cove Road between Bent Tree and Griffin Roads. Not pictured are Wayne and Mychell Herrick, who will be picking up Young Loop Road out in Fairmount, Young Loop runs off Highway 53.  Thanks to the Rooker and Herrick Families, three more roads in our beautiful county will be cleaned up.  Littering the roadways is a crime in the State of Georgia, punishable by a LARGE fine and/or jail time.

KPB is all about reaching our goals to improve the quality of life by eliminating litter through community involvement and increased public awareness. Doing the little things make a “BIG difference.” You too can make a difference! If you would like become a volunteer contact our office at 706-253-3600 and visit our web page at: www.keeppickensbeautiful.org.
