Our Adopt-A-Road program is effective since the combined teamwork of our volunteers keeps Pickens County clean. Volunteers adopt a portion of a State Highway or a section anywhere on a County Road.  Groups or individuals will be requested to designate four days each year for improving their assigned adopted site.  Signs will be erected at each location to inform the public of their group name and community involvement.
